FUN          FRIENDSHIP          FREEDOM

Little Diva is a kids pamper party and day spa. This year we also have our mums retreat & spa to pamper mums while the little ones are at school. We have been running for 7 years and growing each year- proving it works and its growing in popularity.

A place they can call their own to enjoy some relaxation time.

A place where girls can enjoy all the fun that come with being a girl and just have a great time with it.

A place they can experiment with different looks, play dress up and try something new, try things for the first time like a facemask or having their hair curled.

A place that only creates positivity, support, friendship, encouragement. KINDNESS and builds confidence to make their own choices and be themselves

A place they can be free to have fun, sing, dance, get creative, play dress up and play their favourite games.

"She needed a hero so thats what she became"

My daughter was just starting to get into the girls world thing, lots of pink, make up, hair, nail painting, glitter all over her face and all over my floor! She loved it and when she was 7 she asked for a party where she could have a make over. This would be her ‘1st real experience to be ‘grown up’ as they say lol and I wanted share her first ‘grown up’ party with her, a special mum and daughter bond we would share forever!

HOW DID IT ALL START?

I really wanted this to be a positive experience, where my daughter could just have fun and not take herself too serious trying to be 'grown -up' or worried about being judge for her choices. Where she could feel good and be herself, her choices to be encourage and praised but most importantly give her that girl power feeling on her first girlie experience.

I searched around for a kind of party where she could possibly have a little make over  done but they all sounded like abit of a bore, they had a makeover and then nothing! It was too serious for her age and they didn’t get to do a lot. It wasn’t really what I would call a party she wanted to have fun! Regardless of how ‘grown up’ they think they are, Isn’t that what all girls want after all?

I found a gap in the market

So I created her the ultimate playground for girls!!

It had everything all girls love; Make up, hair, Nails, Glitter, Singing, Disco lights, Dancing, Karaoke, Dressing up, fun games, Red carpets, Chocolate fountains, Cupcakes, Mocktails, Face masks, Novelty straws!

You name it, I had it!

MY LIGHTBULB MOMENT

Once I uploaded the pictures to social media I had everyone contacting me, even friends of friends who I hadn't met wanting to know where I had my daughters party.I told them I created it and they were blown away!

During this same period my daughter was being bullied at school this went on for a few weeks, She begged me to take her to school and pick her up, she just wanted to feel safe, She needed me I spoke to my manager and asked, I was not allowed as it didn't meet business needs. They then asked if  I could work again this weekend as they were short staffed and really needed help, put pressure on me to help out the team, so my team wasn't left struggling. But where was the team spirit 1 hour ago?

THIS WAS MY HUGE MOMENT OF REALITY!

I WAS GIVING UP THINGS THAT WERE SO IMPORTANT TO ME,

IMPORTANT TO MY LIFE FOR A COMPANY THAT THOUGHT OF ME AS JUST A NUMBER!

I COULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED NEXT WEEK AND IT WOULDN'T HAVE MATTERED.

I was upsetting my family, I wasn't being there when my kids needed me the most, I sacrificed our precious family weekends to help out my employers for what? For a part time income that only just got our bills paid. I was so focused on making a living I was not making any sort of life. The income I was getting wasn't providing an amazing life either. Kids are only sma for such a short space of time then they grow up and have their own lives, I wanted to really cherish this time as a mum while they were little. My 9-5pm job didn't allow this!

I wanted to start my own business,a business that cared about its employees, a business that did have an impact on the world, happy and positive while working around my kids. Making sure I was always there for them when they needed me but more importantly where I was in charge of how much money I made

All these things came crashing together at the same time, My light bulb moment, my moment of reality.

The cherry on the top was I found something I loved, I was good at and the work made a difference to someone else life. I would never again be just another number.

WHAT ARE WE ALL ABOUT?

OUR GOAL- For all girls to grow up feeling confident, empowered & know their worth from the start

We have our magazine photo booth-

so all our little divas can be the cover girl,

A little diva guest once told us she was not pretty enough to be on a maagazine, this made me feel sick! So i designed and created our very own magazine cover. So all girls get to be the cover girl just the way they are. Because they way they are is perfect.

we also have our I'm amazing wall-

where each girl writes down what makes them amazing. We only ask for 1 thing to not overwhelm them, but how we think about oursleves is vital to how we behave act and can be influenced by others. Its important to get them conciously thinking and realising they are pretty amazing right now.

We really care about our customers and understand the importance of their booking and this shows in our customer reviews on how the feel about us.

SOME OF THE WAYS WE ENCOURAGE

SELF-CONFIDENCE AND EMPOWERMENT
